Ostra lounge chair

A product page and retailer set for a solid-oak lounge chair, where the grain and the stitching justify the price.

Concept Project. Created in-house to demonstrate visual range and deliverables. Not commissioned by the brand shown, which is fictional.

A lounge chair with a smoked oak frame and cognac leather cushions, in a bright reading corner beside a tall window with linen curtains and a brass floor lamp.

Project objective

Support a premium price on a product page by making the materials visible: the oak grain, the joinery and the stitched leather that the buyer is actually paying for.

Input provided

Joinery drawings for the oak frame, a cognac leather hide sample, the thread color specification, and photos of a finished arm.

Visual approach

A chair at this price sells on its details, so each shot was planned around one of them: the arm's continuous curve in the hero, the full silhouette on white, the leather in context, and the joint up close.

Deliverables

  • One hero interior render in web and 4K resolution
  • White-background studio set for retailer listings
  • One reading-corner lifestyle scene
  • Material close-ups of the leather, oak and joinery
  • Square and vertical crops for paid social

Interactive

Turn it, zoom in, place it in a room.

Every product we build can also ship as a web-ready 3D file for a product page or configurator, and as an AR model shoppers can place in their own space from their phone.

Placeholder shape only. The real 3D model of the Ostra lounge chair replaces it, and AR viewing switches on with it.

Materials

The details, up close.

Rendered at close range so the texture, grain and finish read as clearly as they would in the showroom.

  • Close-up of the cognac leather cushion edge, showing the natural grain and cream contrast top-stitching.

    Cushions

    Cognac saddle leather

Full-grain leather with a natural grain and warm patina, finished with cream contrast top-stitching along every welt.

  • Close-up of the smoked oak armrest curving into the front leg, showing the open grain.

    Frame

    Smoked oak

Solid oak with an open grain and a deep smoked oil finish. Each armrest runs as one continuous curve into the front leg.

  • Close-up where the curved oak armrest meets the stitched cognac leather back cushion.

    Joinery

    Arm and cushion joint

Where the curved oak arm meets the leather back cushion. The detail that shows how the chair is put together.
